Music is a world within itself

With a language we all understand
With an equal opportunity
For all to sing, dance and clap their hands
But just because a record has a groove
Don't make it in the groove
But you can tell right away at letter A
When the people start to move

They can feel it all over
They can feel it all over people

Earlier today, I reached with my left hand to lock my door at the same time I reached with my right hand to grab my keys from the ignition. My left hand won, and I learned something interesting. My car has been idiot-proofed. The automatic locks don't work to lock the doors while the keys are in the ignition, even if the car is off. While this does ruin my plan of getting a second key so that I can start my car, lock it, and come back inside for a few minutes in the morning, I find it comforting knowing it is that much harder to lock my keys in my car.

On an unrelated note, lately I have been listening to a lot of Motown. Stevie Wonder has emerged as one of my favorites. This music is really the foundation of the majority of American music as we know it. Suddenly, I wish I was playing in a Motown cover band, although I'm honestly not sure if I have the chops for it.
